The hospital has an emergency management education and training program.

The hospital requires that incident command staff participate in education and training specific to their duties and responsibilities in the incident command structure. Note: The hospital may choose to develop its own training, or it may require incident command staff to take an incident command–related course(s) such as those offered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
